Are you curious about what a bill champion is and how they form the core of our work at Quaker Voice? Every session, a few Friends volunteer to follow one bill that speaks to them. Working groups help them locate a specific bill in an issue area they care about. Those bills become candidates for priority or support from Quaker Voice during the session. In this short, hands-on workshop, we’ll briefly cover the state legislative process, the roles and responsibilities of bill champions, the supports QV provides, and an introduction to resources for following and advocating for our bills.

The second session will be a Q and A follow-up once participants have had some time with the resources.
